From Whence We
Came

For a century, Congregation Beth Shalom has been our home, where we have worshiped, studied, educated our children and celebrated our most cherished life cycle events. A synagogue is among the most important institutions of Jewish life. It is a dominant force in shaping Jewish identity and sustaining our people. For 100 years, beginning with a handful of families to over 400 families today, we have invested our energy, our hard work, our time, and our resources to ensure our synagogue, Congregation Beth Shalom, remains strong.

From the Past to the Present

Today, the needs of our congregation are no less than they were in the past. To remain strong and continue growing, Congregation Beth Shalom needs our collective commitment and investment. to ensure that the generations that follow will gather together for worship and education, to extend community support to one another, and to celebrate cherished life cycle events.

The Key to Our Future

For over a decade, our congregation has enjoyed the benefits of a much-improved and eco-friendly building - a beautifully restored sanctuary and social hall, a sky-lit atrium, modern classrooms with state-of-the-art technology, and lovely grounds and gardens. But a portion of the mortgage remains from these improvements that we must address to ensure our future. We must also provide funds to care for our beautiful but aging building and facilities, and invest in future growth through innovation

All Donations Doubled

To date, we’ve raised $2.1 million in pledges and payments… that means we are 2/3 of the way to our goal. To raise the final $1,000,000 and reach our goal, a generous family is matching every gift going forward, up to $500,000.

Please dig deep in your hearts and pockets to donate generously and help us raise $500,000. Every gift you make to the 2nd Century Campaign will be doubled until we reach our goal of $3.1 million.
